Contact your local Emergency Management office - http://www.deschutes.org/go/government/departments/sheriff's-office/emergency-management
They should have all the guidance you need. Good luck!

Depends on the company Dupont, PPG, Sherman Williams, Diamont, also depends on color and flakes( pear, micca, crushed glass soforth.) paint could cost any where from 30 to 50 dollars for single stage color, 20 to 30 dollars more for metalic additive normally micca per pint. To paint a whole exterior of a car general requires 2 to 3 quarts, about equal amount clear coat generally urathane about 110 to 160 depending on grade quality and other materials like hardner and reducer together about 100 dollars and extra 10 to 30 dollars for masking paper and tape. lot of physical labor required to paint a car right must be good friend.

Targets are generally frequent customers, women, and public naive in auto repair and cost.
Fraudulent practice is usually severed belts, punctured A/C systems, damaged suspension components, damaged lines holding fluids, punctured tires etc. Taking old parts and cleaning them up to look new and then selling them as new parts.
Safer for a customer, take a vehicle to a person you can trust or take an expert with you.

We can call it "The socialist Cruiser"

Once the Govt owns the car companies and banks and then more and more we will all have Govt. jobs and then we can have big parades where we all march like N. Korea.

Ooooh, can't wait.

A great attitude will get you started. If you're willing to learn that always looks good. Some famaliarity with cars isn't going to hurt either.
The truth the matter is that you'll have to crawl before you walk, then run. Meaning you'll be car jockeying, doing oil changes, then "graduating" to changing/replacing brakes. I wouldn't worry about the big stuff, yet.
I'm not sure where you are located, but different countries have different programs.
You should read my article on the Tech's from Germany.

Hope this helps.

My dad and Brother both are Diesel mechanics, and My Mom uses Pine Sol and a little Powder laundry Detergent. She says Fab works best on their oil soaked clothes.. Not only does it remove the grease, it removes the smell. And try to line dry instead of using the Drier

In the beginning there was nitrocellulose based lacquer,it was made obsolete by acrylic lacquer.
As for enamels, there was alkyd enamel [Dupont Dulux for example].They were based on natural oils,They were obsoleted by acrylic then urethane enamels.
Lead was used as a white pigment in the old paints then replaced by titanium dioxide.
The antique paint technologies were great in their day but modern finishes are far superior in all ways.

qunniq, I don't understand the need for sarcasm. But that makes sense, doesn't it?

According to our policymakers, in your example, Britain should theoretically invade Canada.
